Back on the move to St Augustine!

Steadfast spent 9 nights in Fernandina Beach… we spent 5 nights (4 nights spent traveling to/from Richmond for niece Sarah Ann’s wedding (a wonderful celebration!).  It was good to get underway again today!  Nice trip to St Augustine (oldest city in the US!!).  Carefully timed departure (6:45 am) and arrival (2:00 PM) to make tide/current manageable at both ends.  As it turned out… we had the tide in our favor most of the day, making for a very efficient day (still hit us that it took us 3 weeks to get to Fernandina Beach… and 9 hours to get back… we have chosen the slowest, most inefficient mode of transportation possible (and we’re loving it).  Did see (picture) a BIG fire on the waterway today.  At St Augustine we ended up docked just in front of “Miss Betty” a Nordic Tug 34, owned by friends of a friend… small world!  Here is today’s Track.
