On to Coinjock, NC
After 2 days of sitting… we were anxious to get moving. We left the dock at 7:10 and went a full 100 yards across the canal to Atlantic Yacht Basin to take on fuel & water (their pump out had been winterized.. alerting me to the fact that we should pump out when the opportunity presents itself (which it did a few hours later in Coinjock). We made it through 3 draw bridges without incident, and had a beautiful slow cruise to Coinjock, arriving about 1:30. Here is our track for the day Our Track.
Coinjock Marina is “famous” for their prime rib, Mate’s cut is 16 oz, Captain’s cut is 32 oz. You have to order in advance, so we opted to share a Mate’s cut. I’ll update the log after dinner with a full report and maybe even pictures.

Love reading this. Sounds like unexpected challenges are a part of boating life. Enjoy!
