Cruising with Steadfast

 Nice quiet evening at Harbour Village Marina (Hamstead NC) with dinner on board.  Early start (6:45) timed to make 10:00 bridge opening, and the longish run to Morehead City.  More dolphins… Beautiful day, arrived just after 2, secured the boat, picked up rental car (Mustang Convertible just for fun) and drove to Raleigh to spend Easter weekend with Leigh… also early bday for Gwen.  Nice stay in Southport, including great dinner at Joseph’s Italian.  Leisurely departure just before 9 (to time current on Cape Fear River), then slow cruise to Harbour Village Marina… they have us on the fuel dock, so they prefer a later arrival… hence the slow cruise.  Beautiful day, as we passed Wrightville Beach, a friend got a couple pics of us.  Beautiful day.  Just enough clearance at the Wrighville Beach Bridge (see pictures)  Here is today’s  Track
